All Letters of credit will be accept from the following banks for the payment of goods, unless the sales contract stipulates differently. This exposed page gives reference for Internet applications where the term “Top ranking world class bank” or similar is implied on a sales contract.

To reinforce legally enforceable internet trading applications, a reference page or pages should be made available to all parties to a contract or even an offer. This page is a endorsed reference page. All parties to a contract can agree to apply the references on these pages- especially when implying the use of a "TOP 200 World Class Safe banks, and the likes which "needs to be further stipulated"- Parties to a contract or offer may simply add on such an offer or contract the following Conditon- "All references to Ports, Banks and all other advice or acronyms, shall apply in reference on this offer or contract"

All credits will also be advised, when applicable, from a bank listed on this site when purchasing goods from a supplier, unless the contract stipulates differently.

Banks below are not ranked, and are advised in alphabetical order. The term “Collective Adherence “ defines to mean that the whole country adheres to the rules of issuance of UCP500/600 letters of credit.

UCP600 becomes effective 1st July 2007

Multi shipments contracts begin to provisionally apply UCP600 in April 2007 for goods being delivered after 1st July 2007.
